Welcome to Space Pick ("Platform," "we," "us," or "our").
Space Pick is a booking platform that enables users to reserve and manage space rentals for various activities, including but not limited to indoor sports facilities, event spaces, and recreational areas.
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") governs how Borderless Tech Limited ("we," "us," or "our"), the operator of the Space Pick Platform (the "Platform"), collects, uses, maintains, discloses, and safeguards personal information from users ("you" or "your") in Hong Kong. This Policy applies to all users, including Rental Users (customers renting spaces) and Merchants (venue owners/subscribers). By accessing or using the Platform, you consent to the practices described herein.
We comply with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) ("PDPO") and other applicable Hong Kong laws. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
Definitions
- "Personal Information": Any data relating to an identified or identifiable individual, as defined under the PDPO.
- "Rental User": Customers who book and rent spaces via the Platform.
- "Merchant": Venue owners or subscribers who list spaces on the Platform.
- "Site": The Space Pick website (space-pick.com/hk) and related mobile applications.
Information We Collect
We collect Personal Information in the following ways:
a. Information You Provide Directly
- Account Registration: Name, email address, phone number, password, and billing details (e.g., for Rental Users or Merchants).
- Bookings and Payments: Rental details (e.g., dates, spaces, attendee numbers), payment information (processed via Stripe; we do not store full card details).
- Communications: Inquiries, support requests, or feedback submitted via forms or email.
- Merchant-Specific: Business details (e.g., venue address, licensing info) for listing verification.
We only collect what is necessary and with your consent where required.
b. Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, time spent, and referral sources (via cookies or similar technologies).
- Location Data: Approximate location for booking suggestions (only with your explicit permission and if you enable location services).
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies (small data files) for:
- Essential functions (e.g., session management).
- Analytics (e.g., Google Analytics for usage trends).
- Preferences (e.g., remembering login).

We use Personal Information for legitimate purposes under PDPO:
- Platform Operation: To create accounts, process bookings, manage payments (via Stripe), and facilitate Merchant-Rental User interactions.

- Improvement: Analyze usage to enhance features (e.g., personalized recommendations).
- Compliance: Meet legal obligations, prevent fraud, or respond to disputes.
- Merchant-Specific: Verify listings, process subscriptions, and generate reports.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making that significantly affects you without consent.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent Personal Information. Sharing occurs only:
- With Service Providers: Trusted third parties (e.g., Stripe for payments, hosting providers) bound by confidentiality and PDPO compliance.
- With Merchants/Rental Users: Limited booking details (e.g., contact info for confirmations) as needed for transactions.
- Legal Requirements: To comply with laws, subpoenas, or government requests.
- Business Transfers: In case of merger/acquisition (with notice where possible).
- For marketing purposes: We will never share your Personal Information with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes without your explicit consent.
All sharing is minimized and secured.
Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (e.g., encryption, access controls) to protect Personal Information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, no system is 100% secure—we cannot guarantee absolute security.

- For accounts: Until deletion request or inactivity (with notice).
- Anonymized data: Indefinitely for analytics.
International Transfers
Data may be transferred to affiliates/providers outside Hong Kong (e.g., Stripe in the US), using PDPO-compliant safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses).
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy; material changes will be posted on the Platform with 7 days' notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
